Our first retreat. No faked track record — and we don't think you need one.
The honest beginning
We were building a retreat for Teruel, Spain in 2026. When the 2027 eclipse came into focus — the longest totality of the century, crossing four extraordinary countries — the decision to redirect everything toward it was easy. We took the time to do it properly. You're finding us at the start, and we think that's more interesting than a polished mythology.
For a savvy operator, an intentional beginning beats a fake-polished empire. Jeremie — who books retreats purely by word of mouth with no website at all — already knows this is our first. There's no hiding it, and no reason to.
The founders
Aniel
Co-founder — strategy, platform, brand
Entrepreneurial by nature and relentless on the long-distance running track — muscles famously stiff to match. About a year ago, Aniel discovered yoga and something he hadn't expected: magic. Now a true convert, and living proof it is never too late to find what makes your body sing.
By day he works in government and FDI, spending a chunk of the year in Victoria for work and family. He builds the platform, scouts the locations, and handles everything that surrounds the practice.
Ting
Teacher — yoga & nervous-system practice
500-hour certified instructor, trained across Hong Kong and India. Ting brings rare technical depth and genuine warmth to every session. Her love for travel, yoga, and the extraordinary runs so deep she inspired her husband Aniel to unroll his first mat — and the rest became this retreat.
The teachers

Two more are being shortlisted. Each introduction is a post in its own right — quality over quantity.
Jeremie — collaborator
Byron Bay-based video artist and retreat operator. Jeremie runs retreats in QLD, France, and Bali — purely by word of mouth, no website. He reached out to work with us, and he's joining December Victoria as a collaborator, bringing a slice of his well-travelled community.
His role is collaborator and contributor, credited as such. Solipse is our brand; December is our retreat. The partnership is real; the lines are clear.
