Eclipse retreats · nervous-system-first yoga
The rarest reset there is.
For a few minutes, day turns to night — the air cools, the birds fall silent, and the sun becomes a ring of fire. We build five days of nervous-system-first practice around that moment.
Why under an eclipse
Every culture that ever watched the sun vanish stopped what it was doing.
For as long as people have looked up, a total eclipse has stopped them cold — a dragon eating the sun in ancient China, or an omen of the gods elsewhere. Today the mythology has faded, but the body still knows, before the mind can argue, that something enormous is happening.
That makes it a rare, collective nervous-system reset, paired with yoga that settles you rather than performs at you. Eclipses come round every few years; one this long doesn't. On 2 August 2027, totality runs to over six minutes — among the longest this century — anchoring the retreat we're building around it, with more to follow in 2028, 2030 and beyond.
Retreats run five all-inclusive days in the path of totality; gatherings are shorter — same spirit, simpler shape.
The 2027 vote
Four places on the path. Help us choose.
On 2 August 2027 the moon's shadow crosses North Africa and the southern edge of Europe. Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and southern Spain all lie within the path of totality — each offers a distinctly different experience of the same eclipse. Which one is your favourite? The vote is open: see the four, read the honest trade-offs, and tell us where you'd want to reset.
Build it with us
We've got the date and the region. Let's shape the rest together.
The eclipse fixes the essentials — 2 August 2027, on the path across North Africa and southern Spain. How those days actually feel is still open, and we'd rather design them with the people who are coming than hand over a finished brochure.
Gentle, restorative practice or something more demanding? Sound healing in, or left out? Breathwork, cold-water, long unhurried afternoons to yourself? Tell us what you're drawn to, and we'll build the programme around it.
Who this is for
If you can't switch off the achiever, this is the reset.
You find standard holidays slightly too passive. Standard wellness retreats slightly too earnest. You've been quietly aware that a total solar eclipse is a rare event — and have never quite managed to be in the right place for one.
This is five days designed to help you actually arrive somewhere, rather than scroll through it. Nervous-system-first. All-inclusive. Under the longest eclipse of the century.
Don't want to wait for the next eclipse?
In December 2026 we'll gather in Victoria, Australia, to celebrate the summer solstice — the longest day of the Southern Hemisphere year, the turning point from which the light returns. Join us for three slow days of practice and good food.
