1. Who we are

This website is operated by Solipse Yoga (“Solipse”, “we”, “us”). The legal entity acting as data controller is being finalised and will be named here before launch. For any privacy question or request, contact us at aniel@eastwingsolutions.com.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us: your email address, your name (if provided), your destination vote, and your marketing preference, when you join our list, vote, or register interest in a retreat or gathering.
• Information collected automatically: your IP address and a timestamp when you submit a form (used for security and to prevent duplicate voting), and limited technical data needed to serve the site.
• We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not collect data from children (see §9).

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Send you updates / marketing — email, name — Consent (you opt in; withdraw any time).
• Run the destination vote — email, destination, IP — Legitimate interest (one vote per person, fraud prevention).
• Respond to enquiries / register interest — email, name — Legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract.
• Security & abuse prevention — IP, timestamp — Legitimate interest.

4. Who we share it with (processors)

We use trusted third parties who process data on our behalf, under contract:

• Tally — form collection (EU-based).
• Our web host — hosting this site (EU data centre, Amsterdam).
• Email service provider — sending email updates (to be named once selected).
• Stripe — payment processing (once bookings open).
• Fonts are currently served by Google Fonts; we are migrating these to self-hosting to avoid sharing your IP with Google.

We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some processors are outside your country. Where data leaves the EU/UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep list/contact data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and for up to 24 months after your last interaction. Security logs (IP) are kept for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

• EU/UK: you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (e.g. the UK ICO).
• California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale”/”sharing” — we do not sell or share your data.
• Australia (APPs): you may access/correct your data and complain to the OAIC.
• Canada (PIPEDA): you may access/correct your data and complain to the OPC.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep it safe.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change, and material changes will be notified where appropriate.
